You do not need to figure this out before you get here. Not the outfits, not the kids, not what to do with your hands, not how to make everyone cooperate for photos.
That’s my job.
I’m known for being calm with little ones, patient with the chaos, and creating beautiful, natural images without making the whole thing feel stiff or stressful.
A lot of the mums who book me are already carrying enough before the session even starts.
They’re thinking about outfits, naps, snacks, timing, weather, whether their toddler will last five minutes, whether their partner will be into it, and whether they’ll even like photos of themselves right now.
That is exactly why my sessions are the way they are. Warm, thoughtfully guided, and built to take some of that weight off your shoulders.
"I just wanted to say a genuine thank you for our session over the weekend.
You were incredibly patient and kind with all three of us, and I really appreciated the way you handled what probably felt like a bit of chaos at times. The kids clearly felt comfortable in your space, and that really speaks to the environment you create and the space you hold.
I’m really grateful for the whole experience and for the way you cared for our little family during it."
- Shani, 2026 family photography client
Connected sessions with room for movement, personality and the moments that feel the most like your family.
Baby-led sessions with room for feeds, cuddles, settling and all the little pauses in between.
Soft, natural sessions that let you slow down and be in this season before everything changes again.
This is usually the part parents are most worried about, and honestly, it’s one of my biggest strengths.
I’m very comfortable with shy kids, big personalities, sensitive little ones, busy toddlers, and newborns who need extra time. I do not expect children to perform for the camera. I work with their energy, keep things playful where I need to, slow things down where I need to, and guide gently the whole way through.
That’s why families so often leave saying it felt easier than they expected.
Because they were not trying to hold it all together on their own.
You are usually the one taking the photo, organising everyone else, remembering what still needs to be packed, and making sure everyone gets there looking vaguely presentable.
You are also part of this story.
These are the photos that will bring you back to how it felt. The newborn blur. The toddler years that were full on and beautiful all at once. The way your child reaches for you now. The little things you know you’ll miss one day, even in the middle of how much they take out of you.
You do not need a calmer season for this to matter.
It already does.
From the minute we arrived at Laura’s studio we were welcomed with the brightest happiest smile. Laura instantly made us feel at ease. Our kids relaxed into the session so well & Laura clicked with them straight away. She got down on their level instantly and was able to capture some wonderful moments of us all within minutes of us even being there!
Erin, Newborn family session
Every detail was seamless like the wardrobe and the way she worked with our children. The photos are timeless but the experience itself was what set it apart. Laura definiteley knew how to bring us out of our shell in a way that felt natural.
We have 100% found our new family photographer.
Katie, family session
Laura has a calm way of letting the session flow naturally. Our children never stopped moving and she embraced it.
The images look and feel exactly as I'd want to be remembered.

If you’ve been waiting for life to feel less busy, for the kids to be easier, or for you to feel more ready, this is your reminder that this still matters now.
Before the baby changes again. Before your toddler grows out of the way they lean into you. Before this season becomes one you can only get back through memory.
You do not need perfect.
You just need to begin.
