hi, i'm Laura

Your Mandurah Newborn & Family Photographer

I know how quickly these seasons move.

The newborn blur where the days run together.
The toddler years that feel loud, funny, exhausting and beautiful all at once.
The stage where your children still reach for you without thinking.

I also know how easy it is to put photos off.

To wait until life feels calmer. Until the kids are easier. Until you feel more like yourself. Until everything feels a bit more under control.

But family life does not really work like that.

Most of the time, the season you want to remember is the one you are still in the middle of.

That is why this matters to me.

I’m the photographer behind Laura Lambert Photography, a mum of three, and someone who knows just how much sits underneath family life in these seasons.

I photograph maternity, newborn and family sessions across Mandurah, Pinjarra and the Rockingham region, creating imagery that feels soft, natural and timeless, while making the experience itself feel calm, easy and genuinely supportive.

Because beautiful photos matter.
But so does how it feels getting them.

This work means a lot to me for a reason

Why families feel comfortable here

I’m part of a neurodivergent family myself, and I’m neurodivergent too, so I understand that not every child walks into a session ready to smile, sit still, or do things the way people expect.

Some children need time.
Some need movement.
Some need softness.
Some need space before they come in.

And honestly, some days are just bigger than others.

That understanding shapes the way I photograph families. I read the room well, I do not rush children, and I never expect anyone to perform for the sake of a photo. I work with your family’s energy, not against it.

For a lot of parents, especially those with sensitive or neurodivergent little ones, that feeling of being understood changes everything.

The session feels lighter.
Less pressured.
More like they can actually breathe.

And that matters just as much to me as the final gallery

What working with me feels like

My work has a boutique finish, but the experience is very down to earth.

I’ll guide you the whole way, from wardrobe and location through to the flow of the session itself. You do not need to know how to pose, how to keep the kids engaged, or how to make the whole thing come together.

That’s my job.

I’m known for being calm with little ones, patient when things feel messy, and able to create beautiful, connected images without making the whole thing feel stiff or stressful.

I want the photos to feel elevated and timeless.
I also want you to leave thinking, that was actually way easier than I thought it would be.

The kind of families I
photograph best

The ones who care about beautiful photos, but also need the experience to feel easy.

The mums carrying the mental load.
The families with kids who do not fit neatly in a box.
The parents who are a bit nervous about how it will all go.
The ones who want something polished and meaningful, but still want to feel like themselves in the process.

If your life feels full, your kids are a lot, or you’re worried it might all be too hard, you are very much my kind of people.

Of course I want you to leave with images you love.

But more than that, I want you to have photos that bring you back to how this season felt.

The weight of your baby in your arms.
The way your toddler leans into you when they are tired.
The version of your family that exists right now, before everyone changes again.

I want you to feel looked after while we create them.

Not rushed.
Not judged.
Not like you had to hold it all together on your own.

Just gently guided, beautifully photographed, and fully in it.

What I want you to walk away with

I’d love to photograph your family.

Whether you’re expecting, deep in the newborn haze, or in the thick of the toddler years, this season is worth being in now.

If that sounds like what you’ve been looking for
